Engineering Student Organizations
Engineering student organizations and professional societies offer unique opportunities to mesh with student interests and fields of study, as well as offer connections to industry.
Student organizations offer students the opportunity to build leadership skills, meet guests lecturers, participate in community outreach opportunities, and attend seminars and conferences. Combining academic experiences with extracurricular involvement is valuable. These organizations also offer industry a point of contact with students. American Indian Science and Engineering Society
AISES is a national, non-profit organization that nurtures building of community by bridging science and technology with traditional Native values.

AIChE is the worlds leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with more than 40,000 members from 93 countries.
American Society of Civil Engineers
CSU's student chapter of the ASCE provides members with a wide range of experiences, from Concrete Canoe and Steel Bridge regional competitions to a mentoring program with professional engineers.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers
ASME's mission is to promote and enhance the technical competency and professional well being of its members, and through quality programs and activities in mechanical engineering, better enable its practitioners to contribute to the well being of humankind.
Engineering Student Technology Committee (ESTC)
Charged with the management and distribution of the Charge for Technology (CFT) paid by students in the College of Engineering.
Engineers Without Borders
EWB-USA partners students and professionals with international aid projects addressing community needs including the design and construction of water, waste-water, sanitation, energy, and shelter systems.
